Supervisor of Elections Enhances Election Night Reporting Web Site

Pinellas County Supervisor of Elections Deborah Clark announces several new features on the election night reporting Web page, including some precinct-specific election results and detailed reports in several formats. The features became available when the county changed to a new Election Systems and Software optical scan voting system, which offered additional reporting options.

To view the Primary Election results, visit www.votepinellas.com. Several links are available on the home page, including Pinellas County Election Results, scrolling and slideshow features, and Statewide Election Results.

The election results page offers the options of summary election results, precincts reporting, voter turnout and various reports. Highlights include the following:  

• Voter turnout: color-coded precinct map shows percentage range of each precinct’s turnout
• Precincts reporting: color-coded precinct map shows which precincts have reported partial or complete results
• Reports: view precinct-level election results in four formats – comma-delimited, Excel spreadsheet, text and xml (Extensible Markup Language) files
• Custom filter by vote type and precinct: provides multiple options to view one precinct’s early voting, mail ballot, provisional or precinct votes
