HELEN ELLIS HOSPITAL LEASE AMENDMENT

Amending the Tarpon Springs Hospital Foundation Lease to Allow the Foundation to Sell 0.62 Acres

The City proposes to amend its Lease of Helen Ellis Memorial Hospital to the Tarpon Springs Hospital Foundation to permit the Foundation to sell 0.62 acres of property the Foundation owns and has determined to be unnecessary for Hospital operations. In return, the Hospital will be paid $500,000 by the developer and the developer will improve the existing parking lot in front of the Hospital. Shall this amendment be approved?
