Approval of a Comprehensive Plan Amendment Updating Schedule of Capital Improvements
Proposed Ordinance 2008-34 approves a Comprehensive Plan Amendment which updates the City's 5-year schedule of capital improvements as represented in the Capital Improvements Element of the adopted Comprehensive Plan. After state review, the City Commission may adopt, reject, or change the Amendment to comply with state law. Should Ordinance 2008-34 be adopted?

Charter Amendment Prohibiting the Authorization of Casino Gambling Unless Approved by Voters
Shall The City of St. Pete Beach Charter be amended to prohibit the authorization of casino gambling unless first approved by a vote of the electorate presented in a separate referendum and approved by 65% of the votes cast, to define casino gambling to include any game of chance unlawful as of June 10, 2008, and to prohibit successive ballot measures proposed within 24 months of the date of a similar failed referendum?
